"My hair is very dry and damaged! Im trying to bring my hair back to health, and grow it out very long. I have not been able to find a shampoo that makes my hair soft, shiny and manageable all at once. I heard about the hydralicious collection and decided to try it out! This shampoo works wonders on dry damaged hair, it leaves it smooth, manageable,shiny, and perfect! I love this shampoo and its a great price! If your hair needs some moisture and frizz control this is right for you! The shampoo alone works amazing, and when you add the conditioner its even better! The very first time i used this shampoo i was amazed at my results!"

"I love the Hydralicious shampoo and conditioner; however, I do not like the flip-top bottles that they come in. I prefer the push-top bottles like the Dangerously Straight shampoo/conditioner come in. The flip-tops are more difficult to maneuver one-handed in the shower."

"So, I've been a faithful customer for years and have tried pretty much every Herbal Essences brand. However, this one is hands down my favorite! I love how thick and creamy the texture is - as soon as you start lathering it up in your hair, you can tell it's working! Just after one wash, I fell in love with it. My hair was suddenly incredibly soft, silky, and shiny! It looks so much healthier, and it definitely helped with damage and breakage that was caused by heat (I live in South Florida where it's very humid, plus I blow-dry and flat-iron my hair a lot). My fingers now just glide through my hair like velvet. As a bonus, it also smells amazing! I'm definitely planning on sticking to this line. This is the best shampoo + conditioner I've ever used!
If you have very long and thick hair like me, I definitely recommend this shampoo + conditioner (purple bottle) - it'll tame it down. I also recommend it for people who have a lot of frizz, or who have dry & damaged hair due to heat styling products. It's GUARANTEED to work!"

"I was surprised that this thick, lovely purple, yummy scented shampoo left my thick, fine textured, and wavy hair dry, drier and driest. I used three times my normal conditioner (another brand) and had to apply the conditioner to dry hair.......my hair soaked it right up. I think it strips the hair too much."

"I haven't been using Herbal Essences for a long time. But I tried this shampoo because I loved the smell. It smells like SweetTarts! This shampoo lasted me for about 3 months because it's so thick, as well as the conditioner is. It is thick, however, it isn't hard and it doesn't take forever to rinse it all out. With other shampoos I have used, I couldn't get all my conditioner out because of my super-duper thick hair. I would TOTALLY recommend this shampoo and conditioner. (This is the purple kind!)"

"I absolutely love this product! I have been so impressed with all of Herbal Essence's products. My mom is a cosmetologist so I have access to all professional products, and I must say this is one of the best I have ever tried for half the price! Especially the re-conditioning shampoo and conditioner- I have bleach blond hair, and it tends to break and fall out after color treatment. I used it after the last time my mom colored my hair, and it worked wonderfully! I would recommend this to anyone!"

"i was a bit skeptical about buying this line. my mom told me that its for white peoples hair its not gonna work. but i believe hair is hair. Boy was my mom wrong. the minuet i put the shampoo in my hair felt soo much thicker and stronger. the conditioner took away some of that volume but my hair was soo easy to comb thru. i let my hair air dry and i flat irond it without any other product in my hair and it was soo shiny and volumous!!! But ofcorse being an african american i still had to put some type of moisturizer in it."

"When I went to use this product 1/2 of the bottle was empty. It did not leak out anywhere in my bathroom no one in my house used it. So I know I had to have bought it that way, also the lid does not want to work. So the whole product has been a mess. Very disappointed."

"this was a very nice purchase and it left my hair alot smoother that it usually is and i was very happy with it...the smell was amazing and when i was blowdrying my hair it smelled awesome. the only downside of this product was that i had to use alot to make a lather in my hair but this could also be because i have very thick, long and coarse african american hair but this is amazing."

"I had alot of issues with the design of this bottle. If you are a veteran Herbal Essence user- you know most of the caps or lids open by pressing the opposite side of the lid and you hear a "pop" or "snap." This bottle is designed without that- it has a flip cap, which I found to be difficult to open because of shampoo residue sticking to the cap. Also if the bottle sets sideways or upside down, you lose product. These issues make me wonder if I should continue buying this product."

"this is stuff if great! when i usually use shampoo my hair is a little dry before i but in conditioner, but after i put this stuff on my hair and let is quench for like 30 seconds then washed it, my hair wasnt dry!!! my hair is really damage, and after 3 weeks of using it my hair is softer, and i notice it is starting to grow again. if you have dry or damaged hair, i defenatly recommend it!"
