"i was a bit skeptical about buying this line. my mom told me that its for white peoples hair its not gonna work. but i believe hair is hair. Boy was my mom wrong. the minuet i put the shampoo in my hair felt soo much thicker and stronger. the conditioner took away some of that volume but my hair was soo easy to comb thru. i let my hair air dry and i flat irond it without any other product in my hair and it was soo shiny and volumous!!! But ofcorse being an african american i still had to put some type of moisturizer in it."

"When I went to use this product 1/2 of the bottle was empty. It did not leak out anywhere in my bathroom no one in my house used it. So I know I had to have bought it that way, also the lid does not want to work. So the whole product has been a mess. Very disappointed."

"this was a very nice purchase and it left my hair alot smoother that it usually is and i was very happy with it...the smell was amazing and when i was blowdrying my hair it smelled awesome. the only downside of this product was that i had to use alot to make a lather in my hair but this could also be because i have very thick, long and coarse african american hair but this is amazing."

"I love ABSOLUTLY love the product, but have a heck of a time getting into the bottle. The lid is AWFUL to open, and if you have no nails you CANT get into it. It doesnt have the "Trademark" pop lid Im used to! PLEASE CHANGE CAP!"

"I had alot of issues with the design of this bottle. If you are a veteran Herbal Essence user- you know most of the caps or lids open by pressing the opposite side of the lid and you hear a "pop" or "snap." This bottle is designed without that- it has a flip cap, which I found to be difficult to open because of shampoo residue sticking to the cap. Also if the bottle sets sideways or upside down, you lose product. These issues make me wonder if I should continue buying this product."

"this is stuff if great! when i usually use shampoo my hair is a little dry before i but in conditioner, but after i put this stuff on my hair and let is quench for like 30 seconds then washed it, my hair wasnt dry!!! my hair is really damage, and after 3 weeks of using it my hair is softer, and i notice it is starting to grow again. if you have dry or damaged hair, i defenatly recommend it!"

"Alright, so I bought the Hydralicious: Reconditoning Shampoo/Conditioner a while ago. That was my first time using Herbal Essences. I did not enjoy it too much. I decided to try this one, and I've only used it once so far [[this morning]] but I guess it was good. I have thick hair. Very thick hair, and it has a lot of volume. And not the "nice volume." The annoying, huge volume. It's also mostly straight, but some wavy. I wanted something that would calm it down, and make it look sleeker, and I guess this sort of did, but I was hoping for more. Maybe I should use it more for it to work right, but overall it was nice. My hair feels like magic when I run my hands through it, it looks shinier, I guess it looks pretty beautiful when it's not so big. I do have blonde highlights in my hair, and I'm not really worried about keeping the color, so I would recommend this shampoo, and the conditioner along with it."

"When I bought this product at the store, I thought to was going to reduce my frizzy and dry hair. But after a week of using it, it just made my hair much more frizzy and super dry. I would recommend this product not for people that have dry and damaged hair, but for people that have oily hair."

"I love trying new products but as a college student I try to spend my money wisely. The Hydralicious shampoo and conditioner was my absolute best buy for the week. I'm a swimmer so my hair gets so dry and damaged from the chemicals in the pool and AS SOON as this product touched my head I felt a difference. It was so velvety and thick-- I knew it was getting moisture into every strand of hair! I know Herbal Essences is known for the amazing scents of their products but I cannot stop smelling my hair right now! Gimme a job and I'll be the best spokeswoman =)"

"I have been using this product for about 4 months and it has been great. I had a hair catastrophe when I went to a salon to get highlights and the stylist FRIED my hair. The salon tried to repair my hair with expensive conditioning treatments (free for ruining my hair) and I tried several different leave-in conditioners, shampoos and conditioners for dry and damaged hair, spray on conditioners, and hot oil treatments and nothing worked. I bought the shampoo and conditioner in hopes that this would be the one to fix the damage a "professional" salon couldn't repair...IT WAS!!! My hair is so soft, shiny, and healthy after using both the shampoo and conditioner. Very affordable too! No other product has come close to what this has done for my hair. I LOVE IT!!!"
