"I do not use this product, but here is how to get a pin straight look with no product or heat syling:
1) Wash and condition your hair with any shampoo and conditioner you like (other than totally twisted or tousle me softly)
2) Comb through your hair with a wide-tooth comb to remove any tangles
3) Comb through your hair with a fine-tooth comb; this should make it look straight.
4) While your hair dries, comb out the curls and waves with a fine-tooth comb (if you want to speed things up, use a hair dryer).
5) Once your hair has completely dried, your hair should stay straight the rest of the day (mine did). But if you're worried, apply some Set Me Up Gel or while your hair is still wet, Set Me Up Mousse.
When I did this, my hair stayed straight for 2 days without a single wave, and I didn't use any gel or mousse."

"It was fabulous. I was using a different hair care brand before....and I hated it! It made my hair oily and greasy. But now, we discovered Dangerously Straight...just remember, if your hair wasn't straight before, DON'T use this. Use another Herbal Essences. I swear, my hair has never looked healthier or had more volume with this stuffs. Like my mom said, "[The difference] isn't subtle.""

"well i have really wavy and bushy hair and i tried this and i couldnt believe it.............IT DIDNT WORK after 3 hours my hair felt the same

"I wasn't really sure what the product was promising to do, but I have wavy hair that I straighten everyday so anything with the word straight in it..i buy! I'm not 100% sure how it worked because I combined it with other products but i DO know that my hair was no straighter after using it. It did make my hair really smooth and soft though. The scent is fantastic as well! Especially when you go swimming, the fragrance intensifies to a barely legal level!!"

"I used this product for awhile, and I loved it. It smelled amazing and the scent stayed in my hair. However, it didn't straighten my hair at all. It left it clean and hydrated, but not straight. I still had to use a straightening iron every time I took a shower. I have wavy hair and it looked like the 2 in 1 was trying, but couldn't quiet get it straight. I have thick hair, so I think it would probably work better on thin hair."

"I ran out of my old shampoo and conditioner, so I grabbed this product and the conditioner out of my cabinet. I've been wanting to switch to Herbal Essences, so I figured "Hey, I still have the Dangerously Straight collection from a long time ago, so why not see how their product really work?" I was a little nervous about using a 2-in-1 at first, because my mom scared me with stories about them, but since it had shampoo AND conditioner, I figured I could use it for a little extra conditioning since I also have a seperate conditioner (my hair tangles easily because it's thick). This product worked great! My hair was not tangled nor coarse; it was actually very manageable and soft, so now combing is never an issue. What I don't like about this product, though, is the fragrance. It's a bit too perfumey and overpowering. I love the bottle, though, because it's pink, which is my favorite color! Now I love 2-in-1s!"

"Last year (before I used Hello Hydration in 2008), I bought this to save time, and I kind of expected it to make my curly hair straight, because my 2007 curls were so dry and tight! I watched the styling video and I thought it would make my hair straight forever, but it did the total opposite of even helping my hair...it harmed it! My hair came out very coarse and my mom was extremely angry and frustrated because I had so many tangles! When she noticed a huge mat of hair, she was yelling at me and I started crying because it seemed that I would have to live with bad hair! Shampoo and conditioner should not be thrown into one bottle, it is a 2-step process, people! Oh, and do not use this if you have curly hair because it will eventually kill it."

"I used this in 7th grade. My hair was so thick, frizzy, and unmanagable that I was desperate for straight hair. I used the 2-in-1, and guess what happened? My hair came out looking extremely dry, frizzy, and I could barely get my comb through it! This was a very negative long-term effect on my hair and my hairdresser said my hair was so unmanagable that she was gonna cut it like boy! I was extremely disappointed and I blamed my unmanagability on this product! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR; USE TOTALLY TWISTED, HELLO HYDRATION, OR NONE OF YOUR FRIZZNESS THEY ARE A WAY BETTER USE OF YOUR MONEY!!!!"

"WOW I was honestly really surprised. Most shampoos and conditioners such as these do not work on my type of hair; all they do is dry it out and make it even more puffy and tangled.
