"Color Me Happy works perfectly in my hair! My hair is not colored but my natural color was looking dull. So I saw Color Me Happy shampoo and conditioner and thought I would try it. Now my hair looks lively again and full of color! So don't think you can't use this shampoo just because you don't have colored hair! Use it anyway!"

"I have been using Herbal Essences shampoo for colored/dry/damaged hair for years and was very pleased with the product. I even had my husband and family using it. However, the last bottle that I purchased had a note on the front stating that it would be replaced by "Color Me Happy". It does not say whether this is a new product, only that it has the same scent.
I assume that you are trying to appeal to a younger crowd, but you may lose some older users who liked the product the way it was.
Once I can no longer find the old packaging, I will, reluctantly, have to find a new shampoo for my family's use.
Color me annoyed!"

"I am 21 and I had never dyed my hair before. I decided that I wanted to dye my red hair black. A couple of weeks ago I went into a new salon to have my bangs trimmed, and was talking to the lady doing it. She commented on how soft my hair was, and I told her that it was dyed. She told me there was no way it could be. She said that normally dyed hair was brittle, with an almost straw like texture. i told her yes my hair was dyed and when she asked me what shampoo I used I was happy to tell her that I used Herbal Essences Color-Me-Happy. She was surprised at this, thinking that I used Salon products. I am just beyond the point of happy with this product. My hair is shiny, soft, and always smells great. I use both the shampoo and the conditioner of this line and I couldn't be happier. And the fact that a professional could not tell that my hair was dyed says so much about the product. Before I switched to Color-Me-Happy I was using Hello Hydration. I have been a HUGE fan of your products for many years and felt that I should comment about it. Thank you."

"I am so saddened to know that my favorite old herbal essence shampoo will be replaced by the new so called color me happy. At first I was excited to try out the new one since the old one is so good, Ive been using it for over 12 yrs, and when i did try the new presentation of herbal essence... it was a total disappointment and disaster. It left my hair dry and itchy and my scalp real flaky.. I only used it for almost a month and I could not take it so I went back to the old herbal essence and fixed all the damages. But now since I know the old shampoo will not be sold anymore I have been pushed to try other shampoos."

"I used to use the older version of this.. the shampoo and conditioner for moisture.
I absolutely LOVE the smell of this shampoo and conditioner. My hair holds the smell so much people always tell me I smell good and ask what perfume I have on. I tell them it's my hair and they all want to run out and buy Herbal Essences!!!
It also makes my hair look healthier after all the color damage I've done to it. Alll around great product line!"

"I use Herbal Essences all the time. I got on a trip here while back and tried some different kinds of shampoo and went right back to using Herbal Essences. I love Color Me Happy. I color my hair but even if I didn't I would still use this type because it makes my hair soft and shiny. It also seems more managable. I also started using Herbal Essences Hair Spray and Spray Gel which makes my hair smell even more awesome and it also helps keep my style. I have a full time job and a 2 year old daughter so anything that speeds up the process of me fixing hair is wonderful. All I do is wash and blow dry it. The scent is one of my favorite things about Color me Happy. I wish you all would make body sprays and lotions with the Herbal Essences scents! I would absolutely buy that in a heart beat!!!"

"I dyed my hair after taking a 3 year break from color, I had been using the hello hydration line and was loving it but I figured that since I colored my hair this line might be better. I have to say the shampoo feels like it doesnt totally rinse out and doesnt seem to stay clean. by the end of the night sometimes it looks like i need to wash my hair again. If I go two days without washing it it looks totally greasy, which was not a problem with the hello hydration line. The scent is awesome though my daughter also likes the smell but it also seems to make her hair feel and look greasy (she doesnt color her hair but I usually just use what I am using on her hair). also we have a big time static problem with her hair and it didnt really help at all."

"I color all my hair and wanted to try this to see how it works, colored hair tends to be more dry and damaged than non-colored hair so I thought this would condition better than it does. The shampoo seems harsh for it being formulated for colored hair, it makes your hair rinse squeaky clean, it doesn't condition at all so you have to use a conditioner w/ it. I didn't notice my hair being more shiny after using this. I most likely will not be using this anymore, I want more a conditioning type of shampoo."

"I used this product way before I had ever colored my hair and it works wonderful.

"I have tried everything.... Salon Products, Department Store Products- they all did great for the first few washes, but after that- they weren't what they were all cracked up to be., then my sister told me about the S&C she uses- Totally Twisted from Herbal Essences- I used H&E when I was younger, and loved it then, but we get older- our hair style, color and texture changes- so that's why I changed S&C- BIG MISTAKE!!! So I am back and H&E is here to stay! Color me THRILLED!!! And I love the new makeover you gave Herbal Essences. Thanks!!"
